What you can set on a made-to-order Neotech coiloverTwo adjustment ranges around the baseline specification for your vehicle. Spring rate can be chosen within plus or minus two kilograms per millimetre. Damping force can be set within plus or minus twenty per cent of specification, at order or later at overhaul. Beyond those ranges, a bespoke damping curve is developed by consultation.Baseline spec for your vehicleSPRING RATE — SET AT ORDER−2−10+1+2kg/mmDAMPING FORCE — SET AT ORDER OR OVERHAUL−20%−10%spec+10%+20%of specPast these ranges — a bespoke damping curve, developed one-on-one

Every Neotech coilover is built to order. Two parameters are yours to set before the kit is assembled.

Spring rate — ±2kg/mm at order

At the time of order, spring rates can be selected within a ±2kg/mm range of the baseline specification for your vehicle. Availability varies by model.

NEOSport offers greater spring rate flexibility than NEOStreet, which makes it the better base when you intend to tune precisely rather than accept a well-chosen default.

Spring rate is not a "more is better" number. The right rate depends on:

  • Vehicle weight and its front/rear distribution
  • Suspension geometry and motion ratio
  • Available wheel travel at your intended ride height
  • What the car is actually for — daily driving, canyon, track, drift

Choose it wrong and you get a car that is either uncontrolled or unusable. We recommend consulting our suspension specialists before committing.

Damping force — ±20% at order or overhaul

Damping force can be custom-set within ±20% of the original specification, either when you order or later during an overhaul. That second point matters: your setup is not frozen at purchase. As the car changes — more power, stickier tires, a different use case — the dampers can be re-valved to match.

Bespoke damping curves

For drivers who need more than a percentage adjustment, our specialists offer one-on-one consultation to develop unique damping curves and characteristics.

This is the path for:

  • Competitive track programs with a specific circuit and tire package
  • Dedicated drift builds
  • Elevated daily driving where the standard curve does not fit the road
